📦 Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

 

At 5DDpaints.com, most items are made to order and fulfilled through trusted print partners (including Printify). Each product is created specifically for your order, so we do not accept general returns or size exchanges. However, we will always fix printing or quality issues covered below.


✅ When We Can Offer a Refund or Replacement

We’re happy to provide a free replacement or refund if:

  1. Damaged or Defective Item

    • Your item arrives damaged, misprinted, or with a clear manufacturing defect.

    • Contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos of:

      • The damaged/defective area

      • The full product

      • The packaging label (if possible)

  2. Incorrect Item Received

    • You received the wrong product, size, color, or design compared to your order confirmation.

  3. Lost in Transit

    • Your package is confirmed lost by the shipping carrier and shows no delivery scan.

  4. Order Not Yet in Production

    • If your order has not yet entered printing/production, we can cancel it and issue a refund.

These conditions follow our print partners’ (including Printify’s) replacement rules, which require photo evidence and a short reporting window.


❌ Situations That Are Not Eligible

We cannot accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for:

  • Buyer’s remorse or changing your mind

  • Ordering the wrong size, color, or design (unless the item received differs from what you ordered)

  • Items marked “delivered” by the carrier but claimed not received

  • Delays caused by customs, postal backlogs, holidays, or other carrier issues

  • Disliking the design, scent, color, or artwork after delivery

  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided at checkout

  • Normal wear and tear or damage caused after delivery

Because our items are made to order, we don’t keep inventory on hand to resell returned goods. For that reason, we do not offer standard returns for used or opened products.


⏱ Production & Shipping Time

All items begin production after your payment is processed.

  • Production time: typically 7–12 business days

  • U.S. shipping: typically 3–10 business days

  • International shipping: varies by region and customs

During peak seasons or carrier disruptions, shipping may take longer. We’ll always do our best to assist if your order is delayed.


🧾 Refund Process

If your refund or replacement request is approved:

  1. We’ll confirm via email.

  2. For replacements, a new item will be produced and shipped to you at no cost.

  3. For refunds, a credit will be issued to your original payment method.

    • Banks and card issuers may take 5–10 business days to post the refund.

If a return shipment is required (rare, and only when requested by us or our print partner), we’ll give you clear instructions. In most cases, Printify replacements do not require sending the item back.


🛑 Cancellations

  • Before production:
    If your order has not yet entered production, we can cancel it and issue a refund.

  • After production has started or shipped:
    Once printing/production has begun or the order has shipped, it can no longer be canceled. At that point, your order is covered under the refund/replacement rules above.

We do not charge separate “restocking” or “cancellation” fees.


🚚 Return Shipping Costs

If we ask you to send an item back (only in specific cases):

  • Customers are generally responsible for return shipping costs unless the error is ours.

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
